Learning Through Experience!

Students of the “Public Management and Administration” and “Management in Information Technology” programs embarked on a fascinating and insightful trip to the Yaremche Territorial Community to study practical approaches to community development and management practices. What did the students learn during their meeting with Mayor Andriy Myronyak?

 How does the community attract resources for project implementation?
 How is the community budget formed and allocated?
 What innovative solutions help improve service quality for residents?
 How is communication between the authorities and the public built to ensure transparency and efficiency in governance?
 What is the role of information technology in managing and developing the community?

A highlight of the trip was the students’ participation in a mock session of the city council, which allowed them to immerse themselves in the real decision-making process. The students also combined learning with leisure by visiting Gedzyo Park of Legends. This location impressed them with its picturesque landscapes and offered a wonderful opportunity to learn more about local traditions and legends. The park’s inspiring atmosphere perfectly complemented the educational program, providing a unique experience that blended practical learning with cultural exploration. Such events play a vital role not only in the educational process but also in shaping a new generation of professionals capable of contributing effectively to local governance development. We are grateful for the valuable experience shared with the students. It is an essential part of the educational journey and a significant step in preparing skilled professionals in the field of public management.
