The Scientific and Technical Council Session Continues at PNU

From January 28 to 30, 2025, the Scientific and Technical Council session at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University is summarizing the scientific achievements of 2024. The event gathers First Vice-Rector Valentyna Yakubiv, heads of faculties, educational and research institutes, centers, laboratories, and the Scientific Library, who present their departments’ results.

Discussions cover a wide range of topics, including publication activity, participation in international research projects, organization of scientific events, and the implementation of innovative developments in education and science.

Special attention is given to analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of the university’s research activities.

Among the key achievements highlighted are the increase in publications in prestigious scientometric databases, the strengthening of international cooperation, and greater student involvement in research. At the same time, challenges such as further integration of research results into the real economy and attracting young scientists are also discussed.
