“Congratulations to our scholarship holders! This is one of the most prestigious scholarship programs of our partners — the Eastern Institute, the organizer of the largest economic forum in Central Europe. The Program Council headed by Zygmunt Berdychovsky decided that the Precarpathian National University is the educational institution whose students demonstrate high achievements. That is why a scholarship fund of about $20,000 is determined every year, and the winners of the competition are selected by a competent jury, analyzing their academic achievements. This scholarship is designed to support students who study and plan to implement their knowledge in Ukraine. In addition, the organizers of the forum invite our students to an international economic forum, where they can join its organization, communicate with leading politicians, economists, and experts from different countries of the world. This is a unique chance not only to establish communications, but also to gain new knowledge that students will be able to apply in their future professional activities,” said the acting rector of PNU, Ihor Tsependa, in his welcoming speech.

This scholarship program became possible thanks to the cooperation agreement between the Precarpathian National University and the Foundation of the Institute of Oriental Studies (Warsaw, Poland), signed on June 12, 2018. The founder of the Fund is Zygmunt Berdychovsky, Chairman of the Program Council of the Central European Economic Forum.
