The third meeting of the Supervisory Board of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University was held on March 4. The meeting focused on the current state of affairs at the university and its development prospects.
The discussion included the need to align the university’s charter with Resolution No. 1029 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, issued on September 6, 2024, as well as the action plan for organizing the selection process for the university’s leadership.
The Acting Rector of the university, Ihor Tsependa, was invited to the meeting. He presented a report on the institution’s achievements and outlined its strategic objectives for the future.
During the meeting, Ihor Tsependa emphasized key accomplishments of the university, including its successes in international and national rankings, the implementation of scientific projects, the attraction of grants and scholarships, and the digitalization of the educational process.
Additionally, the Acting Rector highlighted the significant contribution of the university’s staff to the successful implementation of scientific and international projects. The Supervisory Board also specifically discussed the importance of conducting an educational audit at the university.
In the near future, the Supervisory Board will also hold meetings with vice-rectors and heads of structural units.
