Study of the practical experience of public administration on the example of the Galician territorial community

Education seekers in the specialty of “Public Administration” visited the Halych Territorial Community to study the practical experience of public administration in the territorial communities of the Ivano-Frankivsk region.

A productive meeting took place with the leadership of the Halych City Council, where students had the opportunity to learn about the work of local self-government bodies. Specialists from the administrative team organized and conducted a mock session of the City Council’s assembly, allowing students to experience firsthand the functions and responsibilities of council members and officials. They also learned about the software used by the Halych City Council in the decision-making process.

In addition, students explored the cultural heritage of the Halych Territorial Community. They visited the Church of the Nativity of Christ, a significant architectural monument that revealed unique historical insights. They also spent time at the Karaim History and Culture Museum, gaining knowledge about the cultural heritage of this ancient community, and climbed the towers of the Halych Castle, where they enjoyed panoramic views.

We express our gratitude to the Mayor, Oleh Kantor, for providing this valuable practical experience and organizing such a rich and engaging program.
