Oksana Rubaniak, a student of the “Public Administration and Management” program, participated in an international event!

  1. A speech at the Aspen Annual Conference 2024 in Prague.
  2. A personal meeting with the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel.
  3. Several meetings with representatives of the Czech government, ministries, ambassadors, and journalists.

This is how her business trip to the Czech Republic unfolded—intense and, we hope, soon to be highly productive.

Oksana had the honor of representing Ukraine at the forum. Her speech and discussions with officials from the Czech Republic focused on one key theme: the current situation on the frontline in Ukraine, the heroism of our military, and the army’s urgent needs.

“Ukraine is the outpost of all Europe. Inaction by Western countries equals bringing the frontline closer to their homes. Only joint efforts in various forms can stop the aggressor. Ukrainian soldiers are doing everything possible—and sometimes the impossible—to keep fighting. But we need strong and timely support,” Oksana emphasized.

She expressed gratitude for personal communication and Ukraine’s support from the Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jan Lipavský, and representatives of NATO. Special thanks were extended to Ukraine’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Vasyl Zvarych, for his tremendous work in the diplomatic sphere.

Oksana shared her impressions of the event, and we are proud of her achievements. Let us all continue to strive for peace and victory!
