Collaboration in the field of public administration: U-LEAD experience for students and teachers of the UAA

Students of the specialty “Public Management and Administration” together with the head of the Department of Public Management and Administration Olga Zhuk, associate professor of the department Vasyl Melnychuk and assistant of the department Drabchuk Natalia had the opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of the international program “U-LEAD with Europe” in Ivano-Frankivsk region, which promotes the development of communities and supports decentralization processes 📑🏛.
💡 During the meeting, the participants had a unique opportunity to:
🔹 learn about the main directions of the “U-LEAD with Europe” program and its role in the development of local self-government;
🔹 get acquainted with successful examples of the development of territorial communities and innovative approaches to management;
🔹 get acquainted with training programs for local self-government bodies;
🔹 receive practical advice on implementing European standards in the field of public administration.
🤝 The visit was an extremely valuable experience, as we were able not only to learn about modern approaches to community management, but also to establish important professional contacts.
